When you were contacted during the Engagement, Retention and Recruitment Campaign, I understand that you undertook to recruit at least one new member for the Club. I am very impressed by the commitment of you and many others who, together, have committed to introducing as many as 53 prospects to the Club by the end of the current Kiwanis year, September 30th.
Some of those commitments have already delivered new members to the Club but most of you are still in the recruiting process. Not everyone is familiar with the process for bringing a new member into the Club and, so, I thought that it would be helpful if we found an opportunity for you to be briefed, provided with membership information and to ask questions that you might have.
To this end, I invite you to join me on Friday, May 14th, at 11:30, am prior to our luncheon meeting, in the Ballroom of the Fairmont Chateau Laurier for a short meeting on sponsoring new members.
Your undertaking to share the vision and good works of the Kiwanis Club ofOttawa by sponsoring new members is fundamental to our future. I appreciate your efforts to identify prospective members within your circles of family, friends and colleagues. I look forward to seeing you on Friday.
Yours in Kiwanis,
