Watch It - Shred It

President’s Rose - Graham Acreman and Todd Cunning

We were introduced to Graham and Todd when we first started our Shred-It Day in October 2009. Seeing that they are both employed at Shred-It, they were approached by our member Ian Peddie who heard that Shred-it held a monthly event at their location, with all proceeds going to the Cancer Society. It sounded like a good opportunity for our Club to also raise funds and Shred-It was pleased to offer their services. They have provided 5 big trucks and 10 men, at no charge, for the past 4 years for our Watch-It Shred-It Day in October. And both Graham and Todd attend and work the event with our volunteers.

The Corporate Partnership between Kiwanis and their employer Shred-It, has enabled us to raise more funds to provide assistance to our community – since these funds are used to purchase food for our Christmas Food Basket Program.

Thank you Graham and Todd, for all that they have done and are doing to help our Club and our community.
