For your guests, simply reserve the game ticket of $4.00, and they can purchase their food on-site off the menu. So far, about 70 members and their guests have reserved their tickets! We’ll meet in the picnic area. Parking $5 (payable at the booth upon arrival) President Bill will be throwing the opening pitch and the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa will be recognized for 90 years of service to the community. It is a family activity and we would like to see many Kiwanians and their families in attendance. If people only want tickets and no food vouchers, that is perfectly acceptable. We want a crowd to cheer President Bill and the Rapidz!

A Kiwanis fundraising opportunity
‘Classic Amusements’ is offering to put on a “Carnival Fun For the Whole Family” with a percentage of the proceeds going to the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa, and is looking for a location. We are in the process of trying to find a shopping centre parking lot or suitable large outside location for this event, as we are only responsible for finding the location. The proposed date is the first weekend in August. If you have any suggestions, please contact the Kiwanis office at 613-233-1900 As Soon As Possible. 2008-09
A notice will be sent out to all members asking you if there are any changes to your information in the roster. Please be sure to return the form to the Kiwanis office by July 25, 2008, as we would like to get the rosters printed for October 1. Thanks.
Committee Selection Sheet
Committee selection sheets will be sent out to you shortly, asking which Committee you would like to serve on, as of October 1. Be sure to select a committee where you feel you can best serve the club and your community, and one that also will provide you with enjoyment in the club.
