Dr. Robert Poupart, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Bishop’s University delivered an excellent presentation that focused on the importance of higher education. Money does matter and higher education is one of our most fragile institutions. It is crucial that we invest in our future or we run the risk of losing our prosperity. Critical Thinking, Openness, Connectedness and Empowerment will be the keys to ensuring not just our prosperity, but that of generations to come.
President’s Rose – Ross McIntyre joined our club in 2001 and immediately joined the Key Club committee. He readily accepted the position of Chair in 2004-05 and again this year. He delegated very well assigning Grant Yusak as the coordinator for this Key Club convention held in Ottawa just a couple of weeks ago. Ross exemplifies the ideals of Kiwanis and we are happy he joined our club.
