The 1999 Bon Appetit! Auction

Announcing an exciting and brand new major fundraising project of the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa for 1999!

Our club will be organizing and presenting a fabulous silent auction event on Tuesday, May 11th, 1999, in association with Bon Appetit Ottawa, the outstanding Gourmet Wine and Food Extravaganza. This volunteer organization secures yearly sponsorship from the Hospitality Industry of the National Capital Region, with the proceeds benefiting a wide range of worthy local charities.

1998 beneficiaries of the Bon Appetit Ottawa, event included the Food Bank ($20,000), the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa-Carleton ($7,500), Champions for Children Foundation of Ottawa-Carleton ($7,500) just to name a few.

This event is a high-quality, value-packed evening of fun, one of the best and most popular deals in town. An admission price of $50 (half of which is tax-deductible) admits you to a culinary extravaganza with all the food, wine and beer you care for, as offered by some of the best restaurant, winery and brewery services in town! In celebration of their 5th anniversary, Bon Appetit Ottawa! welcomes to this year’s event, the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa.

The club has formed a new committee which is already hard at work in organizing and ultimately presenting a Superb Silent Auction Offering for your bidding pleasure, which will include fine artwork, quality jewellery, outstanding hotel, travel and restaurant packages, electronics, value-packed local services and so much more! This is an event not to be missed! Mark your calendars now for Tuesday, May 11th, 1999, at the Aberdeen Pavilion (Landsdowne Park), from 5:30-9:30pm.
