On Saturday, October 23, 2010, local Kiwanis Clubs will host our second annual Shred-a-thon in partnership with Shred-it, the mobile document destruction service. Bring your old tax files and other personal records to Hampton Park Plaza for this one-day fundraising event. You can watch as Shred-It technicians destroy your documents, ensuring your data security—and peace of mind.
The cost is $7 per box (boxes should be less than 50cmx50cmx75cm or 18"x18"x36"), and proceeds will benefit the Kiwanis Christmas Basket Program. For the past 10 years, the program has helped families in need within our community during the holiday season. Last year Kiwanis distributed over 60 baskets. Each basket is large enough to provide a family with food for a week, with cost of $75–$100.
When: Saturday, October 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
