Push For A Change Comes to Ottawa

Kiwanis supports PUSH FOR CHANGE

Joe Roberts, a former homeless youth, formed The Push for Change initiative to raise awareness to END youth homelessness. On May 1, 2016, Joe Roberts started his journey to push a shopping cart from St-Johns, NFL to Vancouver, BC, and will be stopping at over 300 secondary schools and participating in over 200 community engagements to share his very powerful story.

You can donate to The Push for Change through the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa.

In support of Joe’s undertaking The Kiwanis Club of Ottawa has organized two Push for Change community events on September 27, 2016 while Joe Roberts is in Ottawa as part of his national 9,000 km trek.  The objective is to gather as many students and young members of the community to hear Joe Roberts speak in order to raise awareness to end youth homelessness.
