Nicholas graduated from the University of Ottawa with honors in Civil law and was called to the bar in 2011. Nicholas is a lawyer with Décarie Fortin, in Gatineau. His focus is on commercial and corporate law. He is an active member of the community as a member of the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce and the Regroupement des Gens D’Affaires as well as a board member for Vision Centre-ville de Gatineau.
He volunteers with the Carrefour jeunesse emploi de l’Outaouis as a guest employer for interview simulations. He is also on a committee for ethics in research at l’Université de Quebec en Outaouais. Nic is currently pursuing a second degree in Finance. He is an avid racquetball player and has a love for the outdoors, fishing in particular.
Nic is also the lifetime partner of President Alison, which goes a long way in explaining why even before becoming a member, Nic had volunteered at the Bed Race, Shred It Day, TV Bingo, Christmas Food hamper program and more.
