Weekly Meeting - Supreme Court of Canada Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin

Chief Justice McLachlin, the 17th Chief Justice and the first woman to hold the position, spoke of the challenges in the position she has held for 8 months. She spoke of her 4 main roles - judge, administrator, head of Canadian judiciary and public representative - and agreed it often feels that she has no reign of power, and then everything falls smoothly into place.
