Weekly Meeting - St. Patrick's Day Luncheon - Ottawa Ceilidh Band

Didn't you just want to get up and dance a jig? As Guy Milne indicated in his 'thank-you' speech, all that was missing was some Guinness! Tom McSwiggan shared some of his folklore with us and just talked right along before we realized he was onto another Irish song, while showing us what he can do on his accordion. Dennis Alexander offered some great solos on the fiddle, and you could tell that he has a cherished respect for the violin, which he also custom makes at his home in Aylmer.

Irish Prayer: As you slide down the bannister of life, may the slivers be pointing in the right direction.
