Weekly Meeting - Remembrance Day Luncheon - Flying Office Frank Cauley

From the humorous beginnings of his Air Force career, to his days in the air in the "flying coffins"of World War II, Past President Frank Cauley brought us to our feet. Frank's stories of the Saturday night soldier at the drill hall, his first posting in Scotland and of the now infamous "chewing gum" heroics , remind us that he is not only a dedicated Kiwanian but a hero amongst us. Past President Lorne Smith recited "Night in France" and "60 Years Later" as well as one of his latest poems to the delight of the members and guests in attendance. Our veterans deserve the applause.

President Derek's Thought For The Week: The trouble with political jokes is that very often they get elected.
