Weekly Meeting - Remembrance Day Luncheon - Colonel Farwell - Padre of Armed Forces

Bill Cowie introduced Colonel Farwell who thanked our club for trying to make the world a better place to live. He spoke of the many heros during the war, especially Captain Foote who received the Victoria Cross for his acts of bravery in Dieppe and for personally saving many lives.

Thank you to the Air Cadets for their part in today’s programme.

Thank you to Lorne Smith who read one of his poems for Remembrance and the Music Committee did a great job singing some fitting songs for our luncheon.
