Weekly Meeting - Peter Milligan

Gary Pluim of Watercan/EauVive <http://www.watercan.com> spoke of his history in the field of international development and showed a moving video on the need for everyone to have clean water. In addition to a clean water supply, education in hygiene, and sanitation facilities are vital to developing countries. Do your part - conserve!

Clive Woolley, Chair of our Partners In Caring Committee, was proud to present a cheque for $16,000 to the YCPO Committee as proceeds from our Ottawa Senators Hockey Ticket sales, as well as a cheque for $15,000 to the Ronald McDonald House for our sales of 50/50 tickets.

Goodbye to Brian Kloppenburg ! Today was Brian's last day with the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa, as he and his family are moving to Halifax, Nova Scotia, this week. We wish all the best to Brian and Kathy, and know that a Kiwanis Club in Halifax will benefit from Ottawa’s loss!
