Reverend Shane Parker spoke on his personal travels to places like Vienna, other parts of Europe, and Oklahoma. He commented on the history of the concentration camps in Europe and the Oklahoma bombing, noting the juxtaposition of pain and loss, and the beauty and peace that comes when we show our kindness and compassion. When pain and loss occur we reach out and we stand together, against anything. In all of our lives, sometimes we need to be carried and sometimes we carry. This is our common ground.
