Welcome to President-Designate David Daubney, who was a natural at the podium, however, NOT a graduate of Ottawa U. Mme Labelle spoke on her work on immunization with Kiwanis International, leading into her reflections on the issues of post 9/11, Afghanistan and Iraq. She pinpointed the areas of increased security at airports and hospitals, the cost of the military resources, reconstruction of countries, and trade relations. She stressed that Canada needs to diversify its exports and be more cautious. World conflict changes human behaviour, and we should build on the cultural differences in our country which works well together. We should continue to share our success with others.
Thought for the week: We can have enough smart people, but never enough good people.
