Weekly Meeting - "Circle K" Meeting

Katherine Ross introduced our guest speaker Debbie Gilmer, Project Manager of the Volunteer Learning Network and Manager of Technology for Volunteer Ottawa. With 2001 being the year of the Volunteer, Debbie informed the club on some of the planned events that are being scheduled. Debbie also shared some interesting facts such as 68% of the volun-teers are women. Debbie also stated that there was an emerging trend which was the collaboration and networking within agencies.

The club was also commended for its work in the community. We also had visits from Tamina Eapen, Circle K President -Ottawa University and Angela Frankene, Circle K Co-President Carleton University.
