Weekly Meeting - Christian Pauls, Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany

Ambassador Pauls gave an insightful historical overview of the developing relationship between Canada and Germany over the past 50 years, noting how far it had come in that time. He described two countries now "like-minded" and closely alligned with regards to NATO policies and many world issues. The ambassador also looked briefly at the economic impact of the Eurodollar on the German and European community.

Fred Rendell conducted a roll call with new members Ross McIntyre, Sherri Farahani, Doug McGregor and Eric Cosgrove got to kiss the cod (caplen) and a little screech (apple cider).
