"Is Middle East Peace Possible?" His Excellency, ALAN BAKER, Ambassador of Israel to Canada; One of Israel's most experienced diplomats; Alan Baker became Israel’s Ambassador to Canada in September 2004. Prior to this, Ambassador Baker held the post of Legal Adviser and Deputy Director-General of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1996. In this and previous capacities, he has been actively involved in peace negotiations with all of Israel’s neighbours.

June 18, 2006, Carleton University, Father’s Day Past President Tom Spence has formed a team of 10, which includes his sons and his wife, Terry, to run and walk in the 8th Annual “Do It For Dad Run and Family Walk” which benefits prostate cancer research and patient care.  To make a pledge, please contact Tom at 741-0741 X250.  Receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
