One Can make a Difference – President’s Rose - Kathleen Holst

Kathleen has been a very busy member since she re-joined in 2002, and lucky for us, she moved right along as if she never left. She was Chair of our Iodine Deficiency Disorders Committee and lead the committee in their 1st annual “Loonies on the Mall” fundraiser raising $5,200 which contributed to our commitment of $50,000 to eliminate Idd. She lead the Oktoberfest Committee and raised $10,000 for our club. She chaired the Interclub, Sports and Social Committee, a few times now and organized our first Mega Interclub Meeting of all 18 clubs in our Division when we hosted the District Governor in 2005. Kathleen’s motivation and enthusiasm make her a terrific all-around Kiwanian. This year she will be staying on the committee, to assist Bob Garrow who is Chair of Interclub. Congratulations Kathleen, your efforts do make a difference.
