Step up Bill Gosewitz - We’ll accept no counterfeits It’s your turn to take the Chair, You’ve earned top billing, Because you’ve been willing, To work your way up there. Its our big thrill Bill, To now know that you will, Be leading the Club your way, ‘Cause this year’s gonna be a great year, It’s bound to be in high gear, ‘Cause we’re celebrating our 90th birthday. Mark:(Very slowly and deliberate) 2. Bill’s a very smart guy, He graduated quite high, He’s a member of MENSA as well, He’s a hard worker, goal-setter, Skis okay but golf’s better, And his kind, generous heart makes him swell. He was born United, baptized Anglican, Brought up Jewish, married a Catholic, In a Presbyterian Church to boot, He loves pumpkin and blueberry pie, Grey Goose Vodka, Jack Daniels rye, And he definitely is a bit of a hoot. All:3. So now you are “President Bill” And we know that you will, Grab hold of the gavel with zest, You’ll need all your strength and verve, And likely some real good nerves, To keep this Club the best, We know you can do it, And we’ll help you through it, We’re certain you’ll pull us through, We know you’ll be just great, And we’ll get a great rate, For the mortgage that we have on you.
