Chief Charles Bordeleau - Working TogetherWe have so many great organizations in the City of Ottawa that are working to make our City better, the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa being a great example. And while individually, a lot of good is being done, it’s really through partnerships that we can make the biggest impact and change in the community we live and work in.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Charles Bordeleau began his policing career in 1984 and was sworn in as Chief of the Ottawa Police Service on March 5, 2012.  Chief Bordeleau has served on the boards of numerous community organizations as well as co-chairing the Community Police Action Committee, which has provided him with an excellent understanding and rapport with Ottawa’s diverse communities.  Chief Bordeleau also has well-established, strong relationships with our public safety partners, including key strategic partners at the City of Ottawa.
