Kiwanis Luncheon - Ian Glenn, ING Robotic Aviation

Luncheon at the Fairmont Chateau Lauriera, with Ian Glenn, ING Robotic Aviation.

Ian Glenn of ING Robotics Aviation shared his company’s dynamic growth in aerospace with an outstanding team of bright engineers. Ian spent the early part of his career in the Canadian Army and after retiring from active duty he realized he had a better idea to keep his friends safe. He convinced the Canadian government that a small unmanned aircraft vehicle (UAV) would be effective in keeping an eye on our troops in Afghanistan. His company has designed and built unmanned systems for their own commercial business and now include compliance surveillance for oil and gas, search and rescue in the Arctic, farming and agriculture, and more.

Congratulations to the following who received their 100% Attendance tabs -  Mike Lafontaine 7 years, Don Blakslee 9, Thomas Burnie 9, Ron Vincent 12, Ross Christensen 13, Lynda Campbell 19, Steve Moore 20, and Tom Spence 39 years!
