The annual Accora Village Bed Race for the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa is one of the highlights of Winterlude. 50 teams of 4 runners and one rider compete with modified and decorated beds for honours and prizes as the fastest bed, the best decorated bed and the best fund raisers. Put your team together for the race on February 11, 2017. This will be the 37th running of the Bed Race, and the 14th organized by the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa.

Team Building

Each year the WSP participates the Kiwanis Bed Race during Winterlude as part of their team building activities. They will enter teams from Ottawa, Toronto, Burlington and Sudbury, and they compete in the Halsall Cup as part of in-house challenges.

This event would not be possible without our sponsors, and we are always looking for additional sponsors.

The Accora Village Bed Race for Kiwanis was forced to change locations to the Laurier Steet Bridge, and the event came off with lots of smiles on the second weekend of Winterlude with $40,000 being raised for Kiwanis Club of Ottawa projects.
